One relatively untapped industry for Galway Harbour Co. is the tourism industry. For the next two years, 4 cruise liners have been booked to dock in Galway. This is considered a great success considering the harbour capacity.

These passenger ships are not as big as the harbour expects to attract in the future. It is such a success to have these ships stopping in Galway inspite of the fact that they cannot fit into the docks!

Galway is a popular tourist destination for internationals as it boasts a wealth of Irish culture that has been preserved through the years.

Here is a poll I’d like you to answer. All feedback is very much appreciated.
